유네스코 국제무예센터는 무예를 통한 청소년 발달과 참여를 목적으로 대한민국 정부와 유네스코 간의 협정으로 설립된 기관으로 국내 유학생들을 대상으로 「2022 유학생 무예 여름학교」를 운영할 계획입니다.

International centre of martial arts for youth development and engagement is a UNESCO Category 2 Centre which is established through a signed agreement between the Government of the Republic of Korea and UNESCO.

The 2022 ICM Martial Arts Summer School(ICM MASS) which will be held from 23 to 27 Aug aims to forge a robust network among international students and Korean undergraduate/graduate students and also, promote multi-cultural understanding through martial arts education.

We look forward to active participation of those who are interested in the activities of the UNESCO and martial arts.

 Theme: Stronger Together in Chungju

 Dates: Aug 23 to Aug 27, 2022

 Location: Chungju-si, Chungcheongbuk-do, South Korea

 Participants: 30 graduate and undergraduate students (25 international students and 5 Korean graduate and undergraduate buddies)

 Language used: English and Korean

 Programme outline

- Martial Arts Academicus: Lectures and Martial Arts Trainings including Horse-riding martial arts, Taekkyeon, and Taekwondo

- Martial Arts Emphaticus: Field trips and cultural activities

- Martial Arts Communicus: Educational outreach program with local elementary school students
