[University Innovation] Application Notice for Conference Support Project to Promote Graduate Student Research Outcomes and Academic Exchange

This project is operated with budget support from the Innovation Project Team of the University Innovation Project Support Division to promote the dissemination and exchange of graduate student research outcomes. 

This program is operated by the Graduate School of Chosun University with support from the University Innovation Support Project. It aims to expand opportunities for graduate students to present research outcomes and engage in academic exchanges,

while contributing to the revitalization of research culture.

We encourage the active participation of interested departments.

※ If the number of applicant departments exceeds the recruitment quota, selected departments will be chosen according to separate selection criteria.

1. Application Period and Eligibility

※ Multiple applications from the same department may be disadvantageous in the selection process.

2. Support Requirements

• Operate a presentation session that includes a minimum of 3 or more participating students (undergraduate and graduate students)

※ There are no restrictions on the affiliation (internal/external) of presenting students; however, presentation activity scholarships are available only to students affiliated with Chosun University undergraduate or graduate programs

• Operate a minimum of 2 or more lecture sessions by internal faculty members or invited speakers
• Recommended to develop collaborative programs with other universities or graduate schools
• Produce and print a conference proceedings booklet (simple academic publication) (※University Innovation Support Project logo must be included)
• Create photographs and related materials for press release distribution after the event

• Presentation Plan Statement for Participating Students (Undergraduate/Graduate) (1 copy each)
• Curriculum Vitae for (Invited) Speakers (1 copy each)

6. Selection Results Announcement

• Research Outcome Dissemination Conference: Wednesday, May 13, 2026, 3:00 PM (Individual email notification scheduled)
• Global Academic Exchange Conference: Wednesday, May 20, 2026, 3:00 PM (Individual email notification scheduled)

7. Important Notices

• Students who have received academic encouragement scholarships for thesis/poster presentations will be excluded from scholarship eligibility if they present the same thesis/poster at the conference.
• Conversely, students who receive scholarships from conference presentations cannot apply for academic encouragement scholarships for the same thesis/poster.
• Please refer to the Application Guidelines in the attachments when preparing your application.
• Please write applications as specifically as possible to facilitate smooth review.
• Since this project selects support recipients through preliminary review, establishing a detailed operational plan at the application stage is mandatory.
• Arbitrary changes to the operational plan after selection are not permitted.
• Since the specificity of the plan is a key evaluation factor in the review process, sufficient review is necessary when writing the application.
• Point deductions or incomplete documents resulting from failure to comply with submission standards specified in the guidelines and notices will not be subject to separate individual correction guidance. Please thoroughly review all notices and guideline files before submitting your application.
